The Auburn Avenue Research Library hosted Harvard Law School Professor, Dr. Kenneth Mack, who discussed his latest publication, Representing the Race: The Creation of the Civil Rights Lawyer.  In this excerpt, Dr. Mack recounts the lives and careers of Civil Rights lawyers Raymond Pace Alexander and John Mercer Langston and their roles as “Representative Negroes”.
